GTC, a leading real estate investor and commercial property manager in Central and Eastern Europe, recorded strong performance in its Polish retail portfolio in the third quarter of 2025. During this period, the company finalised lease agreements for nearly 11,000 sqm of retail space – both with new tenants and brands already well known to visitors of Galeria Północna in Warsaw and Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa.

Galeria Północna, located in Warsaw’s rapidly developing Białołęka district, has attracted several new tenants in recent months, including Action and MR.DIY, both opening stores of over 1,000 sqm. Early October also saw Fielmann begin fit-out works for its new optical salon. Among the brands that renewed their leases with GTC are Sinsay (nearly 2,700 sqm), Media Expert (1,000 sqm) and Rossmann. In the third quarter alone, Galeria Północna recorded nearly 7,500 sqm of newly leased retail space.

Meanwhile, at Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa – the largest shopping centre in the northern part of the Silesian region and operating at almost full occupancy – the last few months have brought several refurbishments across selected stores. Customers can now enjoy refreshed concepts from JYSK (over 1,000 sqm), Reserved (over 2,800 sqm), Douglas, Ochnik, Wólczanka, Home & You and Kubenz. Soon, eobuwie.pl and Esotiq will reopen in upgraded spaces, while the centre’s offer will be further expanded with Cukiernia Sowa. During the past quarter, Galeria Jurajska signed lease extensions covering a total of approximately 3,400 sqm.

“GTC’s shopping centres are not only popular retail destinations but also important hubs of local community life. This consistent strategy translates directly into strong leasing performance. The agreements concluded in recent months confirm that leading brands want to be present in both Galeria Jurajska and Galeria Północna. We value this trust, which allows us to maintain high occupancy levels and strengthen the position of our centres as key assets within GTC’s portfolio,” said Julita Kubalska, Head of Retail Leasing at GTC.

Galeria Północna offers nearly 65,000 sqm of space, where almost 200 tenants create a diverse and attractive retail mix. At Galeria Jurajska, close to 49,000 sqm accommodates nearly 200 stores and service. Both centres also attract visitors with a wide range of entertainment and dining options.
